nice! More pics, especially of the wheels. Those stockers look really good in that 1st pic, i dont even think i would change them.

I hate theose wheels stock in silver. But black with the red, HOLY SHIT! SEXY!

 

Black out the nasty amber corners. Thats a must. Replace the mitsu dimonds on the front bumper with carbon fiber ones.

 

thanks guys, me and my friend painted the rims and i think that would look real nice with the black corners.

 

I like the artistic eye used on the first photo - if you were to shoot that same photo level with the car (kneeling down), if would've come out even better.

 

i might try and shoot it again, about the corners, should i tint them because a shop in town does that or just buy black ones off ebay? i dont really like some of the little designs on the ones on ebay, im leaning more for the tint.

 

Tinted mine yesterday as a test dummy for my buddies G35 and turned out pretty good. But those stockers look amazing makes me want to do it minus the red since wouldn't look right on my car lol.

 

Like the car, looks clean. I agree, get more photos of the wheels.

 

Ebay ones are fine, but you want to tint, but the clear ones off ebay and tint them to your personal pref. Tinting the ugly orange doesnt turn out quite right.

are these just clear ones that have been tinted already? it said clear depos and it says smoked?

 

Those have a clear plastic front piece, and the back is black, so it looks "smoked".

 

I like it, looks clean, and nice. A drop will do it good.

Nevermind, it is the opposite of what I said. Some come like that, with the smoked clear piece with chrome background, or like what I said earlier.

They look good from far away but in the other thread where he posted close-up pics they don't look good at all. You should sand them down and prep the wheel right and they'll look better.

 

i just painted my gray vent covers a nice gloss black now i just gotta wait till my black corners come in

 

my friend has a sandblaster he said i could use would that work better

I got a question though, how would one go about painting the stock rims black? Very interested, I might do this myself.

 

well i just sprayed the wheels with paint thinner to get the layers off but if i were you i would sand blast them so they will look good and then prime with any color prime, then use painters tape to tape off the tire and any place you dont want to be painted, i sprayed each black and red 2 coats then i clear coated it 2 times but just make sure you prep it good!!!!
