we painted our car a few weeks ago and we have been working hard at wet sanding it and buffing it. the paint is viper blue. the paint job isnt perfect being that it was done in our garage and the fact that we are far from being pros at it, i think the end results turned out really nice.

looks good...def. go with dif rims and black tails

Black out the turn signals, tails and reverse lamps, obligatory lower the 3g comment, and keep the wheels. Those wheels are nice against that color, but people aren't looking at that because the lighting exacerbate the clash. Also, good job on the painting!

I like the blue!

However, I like the background in the pictures! I would really like to go and take some pictures of my car in a setting like that.

:yum:Color and paint looks damn good from these 20 footers... I don't mind the chrome wheels, and know wha tyou were going for with the clear bumper, turns, and tails.... but I agree with everybody else....

It clashes with your tinted windows, the hood, and center part of the lower bumper. You'd be better off going with tint all the way around for an improved flow. If you do that and drop it, i think the wheels will be fine.

One other thing, love the little detail of shaving the bumper emblem and indent.

oh ps, where's that museum you took the shots at? looks cool-

thx for the comments guys, i agree that it needs lowered but im not sure that we are ready for it yet. its already hard enough getting around with the lips, we already scraped them twice and had to fix them. we're doing ok driving with them now but a drop would be too hard. specially since our in laws live in the country and there is no way we are making it in that driveway with a dro. its a shame because i would realy love to drop it, it really needs it.

as for the wheels, they sure looked better on the site then on the car! i wish we would have went with a different patern and black with the chrome lip. but its done now and i still think they look pretty good.

the car was black before. the front lips are custom built.

pictures are taken at the aviation museum in ottawa. the other ones were another weird building, not sure what it was, maybe another museum. the funny thing about those pictures is that at both location the better pictures were improvised and really not planned out. funny how things work out like that.

i know most arent crazy about the all clears but i love them on this car. i couldnt stand having any red on the back, i just found it was clashing so bad with the blue. but i know its not for everyone.

like the color. i was wondering what looked dif about the lip. IMO the cf hood kinda sticks out with the lights. accentuate the hood with black lights, even if you don't want red, you can always nite-shade em to just seem black.

Thumbs up to you though.

I already commented on the .org, but to reiterate. I love the blue, and I think it'll be nice with a good drop. The stuff I would change would be the tails and corners to a smoked version or all black. Just me though.
