Awesome lookin GT there man. As far as aftermarket exhaust (if you want to get one) I suggest the GReddy Evo II. I have it on mine and love the sound, you won't be disappointed at all. Keep taking care of it like you are and you won't end up with the cancerous black paint like most everyone else who got a black Eclipse. Lovin' the car man.

Which do you guys think look better, Depos or Sonars?

Am I correct in thinking 1st gen Depos are the ones without the chrome rings and 2nd gen are with?

It's much easier to get Sonars than the Depos it seems...

Yeah, you're right- its def easier to get the sonars, or at least hte knock offs... FWIW, I like what you've got-

As far as your concerns on getting a drop... Even a 2" drop shouldn't be a big deal, but if you go 1.3-1.5 in the front, you def. won't have any issues with pot holes- South Boston Resident here... Besides, with the improved handling, you'll be able to avoid 'em even when cruising storrow or 93 mid winter... :ndance:

Hmm, I'll def be considering it over the summer...

I had the spoiler off for a little while when I was fixing a water leak in the hatch. I didn't like it at all. The shape just seems, "wrong" if it makes any sense.

Very nice clean car..I hate the tan interiors myself they dont look right..Good thing i have black and blue leather :)

I really wish that I could find a black one. The closest one i can find at a junk yard is in like NC. The others I checked either didn't have a complete one or they didn't want to ship it. Anyone else have any ideas where to look besides car-part.com?

I live in the DC Metro Area and I had Coilovers with a slammed drop and I have pot holes and bumps etc don't try to argue with that and it was my car for all 4 seasons as well.

Got a black interior for a really good price from a local pull it yourself yard. Looks so much better now...

Also, I ordered some Megan headers, can't wait till those come in. I'll probably take pictures during the install of those.

The only thing I had machine were the heads. That cost $375.

I replaced every seal, gasket and bolt on the engine. I also replaced all the belts and pulleys.

Are you looking for a list of things needed for the swap?

Still have alot of detailing to do. Also, I'm going to be moving all the Vacuum solenoid and such out of sight. The only thing that's going to be crossing the front of the intake manifold will be the injector wires.

I'm also waiting for my CAI, and HFC to come in. I really can't wait for the cat, this thing sounds like absolute shit, smells like it too.

Also, that flex pipe and exhaust clamps are only temporary until my friend comes with his welder. Going to weld in the cat at the same time.
