I guess it's time for me to post a little bit about my personal car since I actually drove her to DTM this last week. Today marks almost 5 years since this car has seen the road outside of the 1 mile I drove it when I had a turbo kit on her back in 05. September 13, 2003 was the last time I drove my baby. She has evolved quite a bit since those days. Back then I had a MPH downpipe, AEM CAI, Skunk2 coilovers on AGX's, ported intake manifolds and I managed a best of a 14.9 in the 1/4.

Today she is radically different from when I last drove her. She has been a guinea pig for many things in the last 5 years such as an XTech turbo kit, MAFT, CF hood that just didn't fit, etc.

Her current mod list is as follows:

UCS Performance Street Series Built 3.0L - CP Pistons / stock rods / stock heads
Diamante Intake Manifold
Diamante Throttlebody
RPW Long Tube Headers
UCS Performance 3" Catback w/ 3" HFC
AEM Intake
Quaife LSD
Baer Track Kit
Prothane Motor Mounts
JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers
A/C Deleted
EVO Shifter Bushings
AMSS Short Shifter
ST Rear Sway Bar
Race Concepts Rear Slotted Rotors with Hawk Pads
Walbro 255HP
Mazda Miata Battery
Autometer Nexus Oil Pressure, EGT, Boost Gauge
Apexi Auto Turbo Timer
Kenwood Headunit w/ Sirius Radio

I'm sure there are other things, but hell if I remember everything as she has gone through sooo many different configurations. Interesting to note, almost every single aftermarket part on my car right now came off of someone's 3G from this site or a 2G from my site. Yes, my car was built w/ basically free parts. :)

She currently sits quite a bit lighter after I put the bitch on a diet. The entire dash is intact along with everything underneath it. The doors are also intact. The center console is still there. Both front seats are still in place but everything else, and I DO MEAN EVERYTHING ELSE in the cabin and trunk area is GONE. I've gutted her in preparation for a roll cage.

I put her on the dyno yesterday and after a bit of tuning we ended up w/ 170WHP 180 FT/LBS TQ. While that may seem low to you, it's right where I thought she would be. Our dyno is a Mustang dyno and she reads quite a bit lower than other dynos. The lower compression pistons in the built bottom end don't help either. I'm basically running about an 8.4:1 compression ratio. Once those twins go on, I'm going to instantly pick up 200whp. :)

Her current pics as of today after a little bath:

I've talked about doing a lot for this platform and I'll readily admit my time has been consumed with many many other projects. Things are finally aligning and the twin turbo kit will be born very soon. I'm talking about 45 days tops and twins will be on this car.

Soooo many things to do, so little time.

I've owned the car since 01. ;)

Did I forget to mention that next week I will be competing in the Redline Time Attack even at Summit Point in the FWD class with this car? Supposedly there aren't very many FWD entries so I might be running her in street, modified and unlimited classes. :)

There is way more than just a door ding. Those dents on the driver side are from my brother punching my car as I drove off because he is an asshole. The front core support needs to be replaced along w/ the entire rear end sheet metal. Soon enough she will get the treatment she deserves.

nice car. Im curious as to what intercooler you used with the xtech kit, it fits very nicelt
That was a custom intercooler from Extreme Motorsports.

Uhh... I was drunk leaving Carlisle fairgrounds back in 03. Got kicked out because I was doing a burnout and the assholes wouldn't allow me to stop to take a piss at the bathroom before I exited the facility. Drove to the CVS down the street and pissed on their dumpster. When I was leaving, I kinda hit a curb as I thought it was the exit. My friends to this day don't know how the hell I got back to the hotel in one piece considering I had no idea where I was and the hotel was 30 minutes away!

Moral of the story, drinking and driving = bad.

The rear needs to be replaced because of the Stratus sandwich. A bunch of 2Gers were at my house and we were drinking a little. Decided to go get something to eat and instead of taking one car we took 3. I was in front. 5 spd w/ ABS. Kevin was in the middle, also a 5 spd with ABS. Jimmy was behind both of us and he was an auto w/ no ABS. Redlight and I stopped. Kevin stopped. To Jimmy's credit he tried to jump the median to avoid hitting Kevin but he failed. Smacked Kevin's car who then smacked me. Kevin's car was totaled and I rolled out as my license was suspended. I dragged my rear bumper the 2 miles back to my house using back roads.

Again, moral of the story... Drinking and driving = bad. ;)

That long gash in my rear quarter was delivered by a bike rack on the front of a metro bus that decided he was going to run a red light. I tried to swerve to miss him but I had oncoming traffic so I could move to the left only so far.

The above is the damage done by the Stratus sandwich. I pulled that fucker out using chains, bolts and big ass washers, a tree that I wrapped the chain to and then driving the car forward to pull it out. Ghetto I know but it's a great 10 footer. You can only tell if you get real close or pop the trunk. ;)

I love the rims too. The best part was the price tag... Free! :)

If you are referring to the EVO, it's not the turbo but the manifold you can see.
