I guess it's time for me to post a little bit about my personal car since I actually drove her to DTM this last week. Today marks almost 5 years since this car has seen the road outside of the 1 mile I drove it when I had a turbo kit on her back in 05. September 13, 2003 was the last time I drove my baby. She has evolved quite a bit since those days. Back then I had a MPH downpipe, AEM CAI, Skunk2 coilovers on AGX's, ported intake manifolds and I managed a best of a 14.9 in the 1/4.
Today she is radically different from when I last drove her. She has been a guinea pig for many things in the last 5 years such as an XTech turbo kit, MAFT, CF hood that just didn't fit, etc.
Her current mod list is as follows:
UCS Performance Street Series Built 3.0L - CP Pistons / stock rods / stock heads
Diamante Intake Manifold
Diamante Throttlebody
RPW Long Tube Headers
UCS Performance 3" Catback w/ 3" HFC
AEM Intake
Quaife LSD
Baer Track Kit
Prothane Motor Mounts
JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers
A/C Deleted
EVO Shifter Bushings
AMSS Short Shifter
ST Rear Sway Bar
Race Concepts Rear Slotted Rotors with Hawk Pads
Walbro 255HP
Mazda Miata Battery
Autometer Nexus Oil Pressure, EGT, Boost Gauge
Apexi Auto Turbo Timer
Kenwood Headunit w/ Sirius Radio
I'm sure there are other things, but hell if I remember everything as she has gone through sooo many different configurations. Interesting to note, almost every single aftermarket part on my car right now came off of someone's 3G from this site or a 2G from my site. Yes, my car was built w/ basically free parts.
She currently sits quite a bit lighter after I put the bitch on a diet. The entire dash is intact along with everything underneath it. The doors are also intact. The center console is still there. Both front seats are still in place but everything else, and I DO MEAN EVERYTHING ELSE in the cabin and trunk area is GONE. I've gutted her in preparation for a roll cage.
I put her on the dyno yesterday and after a bit of tuning we ended up w/ 170WHP 180 FT/LBS TQ. While that may seem low to you, it's right where I thought she would be. Our dyno is a Mustang dyno and she reads quite a bit lower than other dynos. The lower compression pistons in the built bottom end don't help either. I'm basically running about an 8.4:1 compression ratio. Once those twins go on, I'm going to instantly pick up 200whp.
Her current pics as of today after a little bath:
A few pics from back in the day. Here's one w/ the XTech kit on:

How she sat for too many years waiting for a built engine:
I've talked about doing a lot for this platform and I'll readily admit my time has been consumed with many many other projects. Things are finally aligning and the twin turbo kit will be born very soon. I'm talking about 45 days tops and twins will be on this car.
Soooo many things to do, so little time.
