Hey guys, working on a set-up for my car. I'm at school right now and my car is at home (got surgery on my left foot, no driving for 6 weeks) so I can't take any measurements or see any of this for myself. From reading around the forums I believe I have everything figured out that I'll need and I want to verify that I'll be good to go when the time comes around that I can set this up.
I purchased:
Polk MM651 6 1/2" speakers for the doors
Polk MM691 6x9" speakers for the rear
A soundstream tx4.560 amp for those 4 speakers
A soundstream tx1.2000d amp for the sub that I will be ordering when I figure out if I am getting an 18" or 15". I am going to be ordering a PSI Platform 2 (rated at 1800W RMS)
17' 4 channel and 2 channel RCA cables
Metra 99-7007 to mount my head unit
Metra 70-7003 Wiring Harness
I just want to make sure that:
1. The speakers are the correct size
2. The RCA's are going to be long enough
3. I got the correct mounting harness and wiring harness for my HU
I had to buy a 19' RCA cable for the system I used to have in my Grand Prix but this is a much smaller car, so just checking that 17' will be long enough.
Let me know if there is anything missing or if there are any other concerns that you have about my set-up.
Thanks,
Ryan
