what other rims fit a 2000 eclipse

I'm looking for a set of rims to run on my car for the winter. I have a 2000 Eclipse GT, came stock with 17" rims and I don't feel like putting down that kind of money for snow tires. I'm looking to run a 15 or 16 rim, tires are easier to find and cheaper. I know Camry and Lexus rims run the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern, but will they actually bold on to my car?/?/?

Any sugguestions would be appreciated.
Thanks and yeah, I'm a newbie to this site. It seems to have a wealth of knowledge though. Thanks again.

I know the speedo will be off if I don't compensate for the tire size difference, didn't really think about the brakes not clearing. I thought that since they came with 16" rims on some 2000 Eclipse that it wouldn't be an issue clearing them. So any idea if Camry wheels have the right hub size?

I was looking at buying them. Found a site that said they were a 60mm hub, so won't fit unless I bore out the rim.

All of these cars run the same size hub. Not sure on pattern, would have to bump it against the one listed above here.

Chrysler: Eagle Summit 89-92, Vista, Sebring LX, Plymouth Laser, Eagle Vision 89-94, Talon

Dodge: Colt 86-92, Avenger, Stealth RS Turbo

Hyundai: All cars* (except Accent 00-on), Sante Fe

Jaguar: XJS S-Class

Mazda: MX-6 92-on, 626 92-on, Millenia, Millenia S, 929, RX-7 89-on, MPV, MPV Van, All Sport, Tribute

Mitsubishi: All cars* (except Mirage)

15" or 16" steelies off of a dodge caravan fit. i have a set 15" steelies that i use as back-ups. they clear the brakes on my 2000 GS and i think the hub is the same size... i never had any problems without hubcentric rings.

What about speed rating? I think you need at least an H rated tire. I think you'd be better off buying some used tires for winter. I found some 215/50/17 used Michelin's for $80 Each. That also includes install and they still had about half the tread left. It not only looks better, but I think it's safer too.

i'm not planning on going very far in the car. Work is only 20 miles round trip. But I found a set of used Blizzaks for less than $300. So I'm going that route. I'll just run one of my 17" rim sets, I've got 3 sets. But I learned a lot from this project

this web page should answer the question as far as what has what hub size and bolt pattern. Thanks for the help. I'm not new to cars, just foreign ones. I've been working on cars for a while. Just haven't seen everything yet. Plenty more questions to come I promise. Give you guys out there who have seen some stuff I haven't a chance to share the knowledge.
