go there to throw this stuff in for speeds of each gear on your wheels and tranny or to help you find which one will cope with your hp/tq better

It's been posted here before from a Club4G thread. The 3G stuff is in the service manual by the way. It doesn't hurt to have it again though. Thanks.

I've heard mixed reactions about the 4g 6 speed. Its held decent power though it breaks diffs as easily as the F5M51 does. I recall a post by Greg (I believe) that putting the 6 in is more the possible, it just requires a complete 4g drivertrain, meaning axles etc. And no one (cept for maybe Charles and his huge pocket book ;) ) would go through all the effort and spend all the money for 1 gear.

Plus, and I always seem to say this, the F5M51 is a tank. That's why people don't mess with it.

Price will always be an issue w/ the 6 spd. The 5 speed is superior. Let me put it this way, my beater had 1 quart of fluid in it for over a year. I beat the living fucking shit out of my beater. It gets launched daily and sees redline on almost every shift. On top of that, the transmission was cobbled together from 3 different transmissions.

3 YEARS LATER IT'S STILL GOING STRONG. WHIRRING NOISES AND 5th GEAR GRIND AND ALL.
