What car isn't a girl car? I've seen girls driving several different styles of cars...

 

I can honestly say I've never seen a woman driving a Koenigsegg, and I've seen a few of those.

Yeah, when I first got my 3g some older kids ( I think they where just jealous ) where saying that the dsm's are way cooler because the 3g is a girl car.... So i just told them to F%#$ off!

I see more girl's driving 2g's around here than guys and a lot of the 3g's running around here are driven by guys. If people have to talk crap about your car then they're most likely jealous.

This thread is dumb. Any car could be a man or womens car. Theres 3 women around here that own G8's, and i've seen 2 GTO's in pikeville driven by women. Also i couldn't even keep up how many girls i see driving 350Z's

Its true. I see more middle aged women driven my favorite sports cars around then anyone else. Women buy sports cars for their middle age crisis. Men buy huge trucks.

At work today we had this discussion. A couple of my co-workers where calling my 3g a chick car. Yet one of em drives a Scion XB and he's thirty, so I called him out on that "your thirty three and you drive a teeny bopper top 10 spike tv douche bag car" So i really want to know what defines a chick car? It's subjective, I guess. In my opinion, a 'chick' car is something that is dominantly owned/driven by women or a car that has features/accessories that is targeted to appeal to that gender. A good example would be the new Beetles; I don't see many guys getting one with the optional faux flower and vase kit near the instrument gauges.

 

I would say that any car that's reasonably economical and good looking is probably a chick car because that's generally what attracts women to cars (i have to help my mom when she car shops because i'm the car guy in my family).

This is not a slam on the 3g in anyway just my point of view.

(btw all three of my cars could've been considered chick cars so obviously i don't care. The car i'm buying once i get out of college is definately a chick car, Honda Fit, until you stuff a k20 in it!)

It was because of the marketing. The main demographic they targeted was women, so now we have to suffer, but hey, I have onky had mine a week and i can tell you I like the attention girls give it.

It was freshly de badged and waxed today, driving on 95 3 riced out but highly modified turbo'd hondas driven by spansih street racers (Philly pepboys race on youtube) were in formation, I zoomed past them and we all took the same exit, after smoking me on leghi avenue, they waved me into the checkers and invited me to the race spot!!! It was cool as hell, and even my super slow (I did beat a honda dx!!! whoo whoo!) clipse definitely got respect in that croud. They all thought it was faste than it is, I can not wait to get it turbo's up, I almost got ripped off with craigslist "Bilstien suspention" but I ordered tien springs from amazon, f the ******** that say girl car, they are just jealous,
