My car will not stay on and is running really crappy. It is throwing an EGR valve code. I know what an egr vale is and how it works, there is only one problom I cant find it anywere on the 4cyl engine, and ther is nothing that connects from the header to an egr valve. I have seen plenty of post but only on the v6.Even I know wher it is on the v6. If some one could help me I would appriciate it ...............

well then im not sure, the best thing you can do is look at your intake manifold for a vac line with a white stripe, that *should* take you to the EGR.

GUys; the EGR on teh 3G is leet.
There is no pipe coming from the manifold to the egr valve. Exhaust gas passes through a small port that is cast into the cylidner head on cylinder #4.

The EGR valve itself is buried on the back side of the intake and is a real cocksucker to get at if the intake is on the car.

Ill try to upload a pic so you can see.

thanks i really need that pic. I think I know what your talking about now because we recently took off my head to put the RPW stage 2 cam and valve springs, and I saw that port in the head and intake manifold gasket. So it should be on the drivers side........
