uh, oh. ups fucked that box over.... i was scared.

what do i find inside?

individually wrapped parts! and LOTS of penuts, and extra boxes to fill the box out.

i am happy. he took the care to make sure they made it to me in 3 pieces. they are in the same shape as the pics on his for sale thread.

good guy, i would buy from again.

HA, i was wondering the same thing.

but honestly, he could have just sent the headers as they were wrapped almost, must be 5-7 layers of newspaper on them. he totally gets my seal of approval.

yep, and that is why i made this thread. he went out of his way to make sure the header arrived safely. i mean heck, these are used, and heat cycled, but they were packed better than some NEW shiny parts i ordered from real companies.

buy his stuff!

Rule of thumb as a seller - always charge a premium for shipping and pack your shit as if it's being sent off to war.
I usually end up eating any profit i may make by way over packing  I've found that balls of news paper though work way better than peanuts and are less messy. peanuts shift, paper balls stay in place, are free, and are easier to pack into/around the object and box. when in doubt, bag item, place atop paper balls, take plastic shopping bags, fill party with expanding foam, tie shut, toss in box, tape box shut. they'll conform around the object and hold it exactly in place. or be an ass and just put the thing in a bag, place atop paper balls, then fill box with foam, cut off 'muffin top' and tape shut. it'll be like opening an egg!

Pictures of the install, when it happens?
my car is in the graveyard section right now....

getting my damage fixed (happened this weekend while the header was shipping) is top priority. but i did finally get the hood open.
