I just got some new fuel injectors for my 3g eclipse GS, I plan to replace the ones that are under the hood. I've been all over the Internet trying to figure out how to do it before I replace the injectors myself. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any tutorials for them. Just need a step by step of how to remove the fuel injectors is all

Right behind the valve cover, you unplug all four fuel injectors and remove the two bolts holding the fuel rail on. Don't loose the plastic spacers from the fuel rail. They are under the bolts that hold it on and will easily fall in the engine bay. Then you take out a towel and remove the old fuel injectors, keeping in mind that gas will drop everywhere. You just pull and twist them off. A few of the o rings and rubber grommets will be stuck in the intake. Make sure you get those. Next, you put new o rings on the fuel injectors and grommets in the intake. Compare the old and new part to make sure they are the same. Lastly, pop the fuel injectors in, find the plastic spacers you just dropped, and then put it all back together. I believe that is all there is to it when I did this a couple of months ago, takes maybe like 30 mins to an hour if you are doing it for the first time. You might have to remove other things like the intake tube.

Make sure you replace both o-rings on each injector and lube them with a little engine oil when you insert them, otherwise you WILL get a fuel leak and burn your car down.

You don't need anything other than stock injectors. Put the cat back on, it gains you nothing except asthma.
