Nice! Welcome, the only thing I don't like are the wheels

 

Looks good. I've been debating about going with a vented hood on my 3G. You have me thinking maybe I should of bought that hood from cardo now.

 

How you liking that spec clutch?

Same here, wheels and graphics are a no go.

 

JermTheElf- I did the wheels like that because the clear was messed up on the lip and I wanted something different that I didn't see others doing. It is also why the vents in the hood and the side of the hood are painted.(to be different)

Finesse49ers- Thanks man and the vents sit right above the front valve cover so I'm going to see if the 3.5 valve cover and eng. cover will work without hitting the hood.

Silvertune- I have not problems with it but you do have to do a breakin and the clutch is a stage 2 so it grips alittle diff. but it is def better then the stock one that can't handle the 3.5

To help you out... make the spoke color of the wheels darker. Gray or carbon color would look best and better flow over-all. Also, are you lowered? Looks a lil high to me. Lower it if you arent... that'll help tons.

One other thing. How did you fit the 3.5 in there with the front strut bar. I thought with that swap you couldn't use it since the motor sits taller

 

The front strut bar I don't think is an issue, I'm using mine as well. The cruise control is the culprit, he has his but I don't. It's hit or miss.

 

05eclipse05- the wheels are going to be darker come spring just didn't get it done yet and it is sitting at factory because I'm not sure how low I can go and still make it in my driveway

 

thahnic1080- The strut bar was hit a few times with a hammer right at the TB then painted and reinstalled

 

well i also am running the 3.0 tb not the 3.5 so that i can have cruise

oh and i will try to get some newer pics of the eng bay since those are from back in feb.

Looking good man. That engine bay looks nice too. I'll make sure i keep my TB when i do my swap because Cruise control is a MUST for me.

Okay so I was thinking and I'm going to clean up the eng. bay so I know where I can move wires to and some vac lines but not sure about doing the coolant under the headlight. Is there anything else to do that I'm not thinking of for the eng. bay?

Looks good :yesway: glad the decals are coming off. The wheels will look much better with darker spokes and once it's lowered :yesway:

 

Well decals are off and hids are in low and high beam now

 

How high do those vents on the hood stick up? From pics I've seen not very high which is what I want but those pics aren't from the angle I want. I'm thinking about getting a vented hood, the one you have in particular but I want it to look as close to OEM as possible meaning smooth with minimal hump in it. Would you mind taking a picture from this angle like this for me when you get a chance so I can see how high the humps are? I'd appreciate it.

 

Yep will do and I test fitted the 3.5 engine cover and I think it will just fit but I need to flip over the valve cover since the test fit still had the 3.0 valve cover
