Hi guys, I recently bought my 2000 Eclipse GS. It currently has a 40 series flowmaster and a cold air intake. Of course its a 5speed with 117k. The front bumper is starting to chip and is kind of scuffed up. Would it be eaiser to buy a new one or sand it and get it repainted? I'm getting ready to order some smoked halo head lights and and new tail lights. Eventually I want to get rid of the crome wheels and get it lowered. Any advice on springs and coilovers?

Welcome. For an answer on the bumper you'll need to provide better pics. Coilovers are best but people have had success with a strut/shock spring combo.

I definitely don't like them, and they wont fit (they are only 4 lug).

I like the black with the chrome lip, but I'm a fan of something with less spokes. I don't think they would look horrible, just not my taste.

Ya, I just realized that those one were 4 lug. Was looking at a couple differnt ones.

haha, ya some chrome wheels are alright, but a lot of work to keep looking nice, and impossible when you live where it rains everyday. Im leaning towards black, but if I find something I like in a grey or silver I will probably go for them.

I recommend black, that's what I threw on my silver eclipse. If it wasn't for the polished aluminum lip they wouldn't show dirt too bad.
