i think the circle fogs look stupid in the 00 style front, but the interior looks fantastic, and that was an excellent wheel choice

 

Worst car name I think I have ever heard but at least you kept her clean.

I don't like the name much considering that the car is NOT pearl white. That's Northstar white, and they only made that color in 2000.

thanks everyone! I think those stock rectangle fog lights looked like buck teeth and when I took those out and had nothing in there it looked too empty, so I got the round ones. I like them alot more than the rectangle ones, so I'll keep them I got them off ebay for really cheap, the centers were for halogen light bulbs but I painted the centers black. I really just wanted them to fill space and the halos look awesome at night and match the projectors.

So I've had my car now for about 4 years but haven't really done anything to it until recently with help from club3g forums. The car is a North Star white 2000 Eclipse GT, and has about 86,000 miles.

Unfortunately I never took any pictures of the car when I first bought it, but it was completely stock so it would have looked like this:

I know it's not pearl white, my friend came up with it as a joke and I just kept it, it's not supposed to be some awesome name I took hours thinking up

Just took some night shots so you could see what the halo fog lights look like at night!

 

Halos still seem.... out of place to me. Other than that, i think you are doing a fantastic job on it. Especially the interior mix you did. Hats off to you sir.

I do agree with other members about the halo fog lights. Seems kind of out of place.




I just realize that, I could have mistaken that for km/h (home country uses km/h).

 

If you ever feel like taking your cluster apart, you should remove the orange film behind the odometer. You pry up gently on the screen, tilt the cluster down and let it fall out. It will make the odometer look much better

very nice car what about a grill in the front for the foglights they look good it just seems like its missing something right there anyways that car looks sick.

what size lip is that on the rims? anyways very nice car.

 

Thanks man! Yeah I've thought about a grill, but I don't want one that goes in front of the halos :/ so I'm not sure. I'm not exactly sure about the size of the lip on the wheels, with the offset and size of the wheels they're going to stick out about an inch further than how the stock ones do now though.

 

Nice, I like the interior. What kind of wheels are those. What size wheels are those? Width/offset and what size tires are you going to be running with them? They look pretty deep and I love 5 star wheels. I'm trying to find a nice size lip.

 

They're 18x8.5 with a 45 offset. I'm not sure about the tires yet, I'm gonna figure that out after I get the wheels in the mail. But yeah, they should have a pretty nice size lip on them and I love the 5 spoke look too. You can find these specific ones on ebay if you search for "18 stern wheels"

 

I really love your car! I almost got those wheels, but I instead purchased the Motegis. Great work.

Thanks! Yeah I like the halos alot too I've never seen fog lights that are just halos like that before, I know they make them with halos but most people probably actually have the fog lights on so you can't really see the halos as well haha

 

how did you do it so it looks like that??

 

I just taped over the halo part of the fog lights and spray painted the middles black, and then I just hooked the halos up to my fog light switch that was already in my car from the stock fog lights, it wasn't too hard to do
