da man is tryin to start something here, not everybody wants to search all over and find their parts if they find it. He explained why he uses the t3, because sportys like me can get spoolin better of the line. Thats why no one wants to support the 3g because theirs always somebody bit**in. The kit hasnt even came out yet, and you already shut it down

Your a dumb ass. I was just making a statement off what i see in the pic. If you want to pay someone to pick your parts, im sure not standing in your way. I read the other day they were having a custom manifold cast. In the pic they are showing a 2gen manifold.

must comment on this thread........

i have to.

i resisted for too long.

but i cant anymore.

Perhaps the "release" was a bit premature. There is nothing in the picture 3G specific. Anyone who is doing an I4 turbo kit knows that hardware-wise the two most difficult peices (if you can't weld) are the downpipe and intercooler pipes. That's what most are interested in seeing since you get all the other parts anywhere.

Here's a better pic of my engine bay for the fella who wanted it:

I never claimed to having a custom manifold cast, I stated that the kit will utilize a cast manifold instead of a log style that would eventually crack. Yes it is a dsm manifold, why reinvent the wheel when this manifold has been proven to be reliable and will flow more then enough CFM for this application? We are not being paid to "pick parts". A direct fit placement pipe and downpipe will be included with the kit along with direct fit injectors. You have no just cause to bash me or my product, if you don't like it thats fine but I would appreciate if you would take the slander out the door.

The turbo will have a custom placement off of the manifold that ive designed.
I think that's where the confusion came from.

No big deal, a cast DSM manifold is a good choice. But I don't think Balla was bashing you.

Do you have pictures of the downpipe?

I say this is a good idea. If you get it to be a bolt-on kit with projected hp numbers, then this will definitely be a good choice for those who aren't confident enough to calculate their own hp needs and buy their own parts. It will provide another option for those who want to go FI.

You insinuated a few times early in this thread that you were having a custom cast manifold produced.

You dont have to tell me about dsm manifolds ive been using one for a long time now. I wasnt bashing you in my previous posts, just stating a fact along w/ my opinion. This is a forums i can state an opinion right? If you dont want opinions post this in the for sale section.

So whats the ballpark price for this kit anyway? maybe its a good deal i dunno. Tell us more about this direct fit placement pipe.

I never said he lied. I said i read somewhere it was custom casting.

Could you please explain to me how i was being cocky?

I don't normally dabble in the FI section at all because I don't really have any plans to go FI, but I noticed this thread and decided to read through it. I'm excited to see another vendor in this regard. It's been a while, and it seems to me, with my limited FI knowledge, to be a decent bolt-on application. I look forward to see the final result.

Well atleast your doing it right i guess. The apapter pipe off the manifold is the only way to do it right. Thats how i did mine, but included a wg flange on the pipe. Sounds like a good deal.

Are you using 321 or 304 stainless for the adapter pipe?
