So my car is leaking oil. I have determined that my front crankshaft seal is leaking but i also see oil coming from up top. what other places would oil leak from top ( or in between) besides the two cam shaft seals (which i also plan on changing).

i have a 2000 eclipse gt.

You have the front seal which is in the oil pump. Those going isn't uncommon. They ooze just a little bit a lot of the time. Otherwise you cam seals and main seal are obviously in back. Where exactly are you seeing the oil? One of the crappy felt gaskets for your oil pump could've gone south as well.

I think your talking about the camshaft seals on the passenger side. The front one is referred to as the right bank and the back is the left bank. I already did the research. The bottom one is the crankshaft which has its own seal. Many mechanics don't want to open the timing belt covers because they are hot after being runned but if you opend just enough and point a flashlight down you will see the seals and know for sure that they are leaking. I had one that was leaking all over and one other started to leak. You might consider doing the timing belt if not done so also.

has anybody else had this problem.

question 2)
