Hey guys,

I have been a member here for a while. However, I just recently got a new 3g.

I was a member here before when I had my 01 GS Spyder. The first two pics are of it. Then the rest are of the new ride. I did the Spyder up from stock. The GT has some work done to it but I am going to have to redo almost everything.

It was blue, white, and primer. I now have the outside so its just two tone primer and white. I will be getting it painted here in a couple of months once I have all of the things I need to go with the paint job.

What do you guys think so far? This was mostly done up by the previous owner. But we have a very different vision. I am looking for a more clean look. Black projectors, black with a chrome lip rims, Carbon Fiber Hood, etc. I am actually thinking about ditching the front kit and putting on a ss front lip. My question is though, do I go with the stock front bumper? Or should I get an 03-05 front bumper? I really do like the 03-05 better and I also think it goes better with the ss front lip.

Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated. I have more to talk about i'm sure but I will wait for you guys to respond to remind me of some things I wanted to discuss with you guys about the new ride.

Thanks, for that reason I think I am going to keep the back part of the kit. I am seriously considering getting rid of the front though. To go with an 03-05 conversion with an ss front lip. The duals do sound VERY nice. Its a real deep loud sound. Very beautiful.

If anyone has a stock 03-05 front bumper and would rather have my front kit let me know. I can give you my stock bumper and front kit in trade for just a stock 03-05 bumper. If you have the ss lip that would be even better to go with it.

These are just ideas I am not trying to get a trade in my thread. Just throwing it out there.

My opinions: 1st pic - neons are :ghey:. 2nd - Is that the same car? WAY better. Very clean. 3/4th pics - Cute kid.

The rest: The lighting is horrible. Get rid of all that chrome. The doors are ok i suppose. But yes, you have to go back to OEM bumpers for the ss kit. What year bumper is totaly up to you. I think they both look pretty good regardless.

Yes, the chrome on the car will be gone. Headlights and taillights are one of the first things on my list before I get the car painted.

Yes, the first and second pic are the same car. The second picture was just a little further down the road. I am afraid that with that front bumper that I will scrape to much when I lower it? Either way I would prefer to have the ss lip. Do you guys think that the ss lip will go ok with the rear kit?

Thanks for the comments on my daughter too. She is 2 years old now and never got to see my first one. She loves this one though. :]

I like the dual exhaust. Sound clip?
Definitely would go for the 03-05 with the SS although the 00-02 doesn't look too bad either. When I first got mine I hated the 03-05 front end. I had the choice between my 01 and a white 03 w/ similar options/price/mileage I just didn't like the front end. But now I'm thinking about looking into doing a swap

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah if I can come up with a 03-05 front bumper for cheap then I will get that for sure. Does anyone know where I can get one for cheap? Know of anyone that has one for sale? I know there are some on ebay but I would rather find one on here for a little cheaper if I can.

I will see if I can get a sound clip. Would an IPhone sound clip be good enough? Or would the quality be to bad?

I am going to order my headlights tonight from the Bay!

Here is my next question. I need to replace the gauges in my tripod. Does anyone know what these ones look like at night when there lit up in the white led's? Anyone have a pic of these installed? Or should I just go with the more popular "Glowshift Black-Series " gauges? Opinions?

PLEASE get rid up that front lip. Go with an '03-'05 front bumper. The dual exhaust is nice and paint it ASAP. I'm assuming that gauge cluster is supposed to fit in front of the clock pod, I've seen something similar on a couple of 3G's. I believe HIJACKER was gonna produce them but it never happened. I wouldn't go with those gauges though, get the Glowshift's. The Tinted 7 series is very nice, I have two sets!.

Are you looking to get rid of a set? I am looking for new un-used though?

The gauges are not ment for under the clock pod though. I already have the tri-pod to the left where most go. I just need the gauges and that was the best price I could find for the gauges. I wouldnt be using the little universal pod, just the gauges.

So Gloshift? Pics anyone of either the gloshift tinted? Or the carbon fiber ones?

Mods are going to go.

- Dual Black Projectors
- Either ss lip or 03 front conversion with ss lip. Which ever I can get quicker. Some one want to trade? My front kit for your 03 front bumper?
- TYC Black Taillights
- Smoked turns and tails
- 2 x 7" Headrest monitors

Let me know what you think.

Anyone want to trade these chrome projectors for something I have listed in my needs?

you got the right idea. Smoked turns and turns for the mean time is a good idea. The front really isnt all too bad. Keeping it 00-22 or doing the 03+ conversion simply preferred taste. Looks like you like the 03+. IMO the ss looks better on the 00-02 and WW looks best on 03+. Also on another note, id primer the hood black and rock the two tone with the roof and trunk white.

It's nice seeing different things on this board. There is a red turbo 3g with the razzi front and with a nice sized FMIC stuffed in there it doesn't look too bad. It's definitely not the #1 kit on my list, but I wouldn't rush to take it off like its a Bomex kit.

It's nice seeing some creativity and not all WW eclipses. Although I am biased...:ninja2:
