Hello everyone. I just signed up yesterday and decided to make a members ride post. Thought I'd get some imput on my ride and make some friends while I'm at it. I will post some more pictures later. Let me know what you think. Have a great night all.

But how did you clean the maf? You keep saying you cleaned it like its a good thing.. if you cleaned it with completely dry compressed air that might not have been bad or if you cleaned just things out of the honeycomb by hand with something completely dry then your probably fine. Bit you didnt say anything about my comment earlier where i said CLEANING THE MAF IS BAD (atleast with chemical cleaners or water). So im just curious to get your comment on that, and how you cleaned it. Not sure if you read that part of my post since it wasnt mentioned in your next post.

Heres the link to all the info on the maf if you didnt read this already, where it mentions MAF CANNOT BE CLEANED.

Yeah. My fault. I was half asleep when I parshley answered your question. I used maf cleaner from advance auto parts, then let it air dry before I put it in. Here's a picture of the cleaner I used.
Also two dumb question. Sorry if I didn't search, but I am at work, and typing on my phone. L.O.L!!! If I unplug the maf and the idle goes around 1500rpm, and doesn't die, does that mean the maf is good? Also another question. If I unplug my cps, and my car dies does that mean it's good or bad?

i think i may have found the reasoning behind your misfire. silvertune made a statement on his pnp thread about stock or shitty timing belts. i think yours may have stretched under throttle and is throwing it slightly out of time.
id pull the covers and line up the crank timing marks and see where the top lines up. could be that. its happened to me on my crv i had. that would solve for lost compression, excessive oil, alight misfire, if youve done the full tuneup, id seriously look into it. Even if its just to check your belts, and double check everything.

Funny thing about that. I'm acculy using a dayco timing belt kit. So quality is really good, and not shit. Bad news is I think I have a burnt valve. There is a test where if you put a dollar bill behind the exhaust and it feels like it sucks in then out that it could be a burn't valve. FUCK MY LIFE!!! :scream:
Car when warmed up , and long drives idles like shit and will die once in a blue, but starts up when I turn it over. I'm also having another problem where my gas guage now doesn't work. I was alittle over 1/2 and light came on. I put 10 bucks into it, and never changed. I'm trying to trade my ride, and I think she doesn't want me to let her go. I put a carquest fuel pump assembley in. As in the whole assembly. Float, sensor, filter, pump, etc. I don't know what the hell b going on with this thing. I been having dumb shit with this thing for the last few weeks ever since that night with my sparkplug. I also have a weird thing going on I just notice. When I take my pcv valve off smoke comes out. When I take the oil cap off same thing, but yet it doesn't feel like it's blowing out. :dunno:

Well that or a hatch. Been trying to look for a clean hatch, but I been seeing shitty ones. I'm trying to make a trade deal with a hatch, or the sedan. They have a b series swap, gsr disc swap, and sway bar and full suspention. Honestly I just want to try something different. Even if it's a Honda. I want a sedan/hatch so I could do this. Times cheaper, and easier to fix. Even easier to mod as well :p
