Well I came across a great deal and jumped on it. Just need to replace the front and rear bumper and get a passengers side headlight when I'm ready to sell after winter. Shes in the shop getting the transmission worked on.

More pictures later but for now....

Welp got the transmission tore apart. Wasen't as bad as I thought. Just input and output shaft bearings.

The loads of metal shavings I saw at first scared me but it's all good. Depending on how quickly I can get the parts I'll be driving her by tomorrow or sometime next week if i have to ship.

thats a great little commuter car there, 30+mpg highway is EASILY attained, 26-30mpg around town, and they're pretty nimble for FWD.

Thats why I bought it.

I had to get insurance for the first time in my name on a car though. 1400 every 6 months for liability...pfft.

I called them back and said GEICO had quoted me at 1100 every 6 months.

Esurance beat their price. 1098 dollars every six months isn't SO bad....is it?

Nice! I was on here before more frequently until I sold my 3G and bought myself a Celica. I could've sworn I had seen you on there, as I remember your screenname from the days that I used to frequent on this forum. Anyways, nice find, beats the deal I got on mine by a long shot. I'm ikhaffaji over on NewCelica.org, so if you need any help on anything, or have questions on the platform, let me know. :)

Not yet. I'll go to TN and check it out.

I did remove the heat sheild off the header that was making the rattling noise.

And removed one of the gas shocks in the back that was vibrating.

And adjusted the hood so it won't rattle anymore. Very very quiet car now. Nothing at all makes noise.
