In the 1st 3 pics it looks like the rear is lower than the front. What was going on there?

Blacked Tail Lights, Blacked Corner Lights, Blacked Reverse Lights :yesway:
But all the blacked lights with chrome headlights :noway:
Im just a stickler about matching. I'm more than likely getting depos(which are black) so my tail lights and etc. will be black as well. Its just offsetting to me when you have niteshaded everything but then Chrome Sonars.

Have to agree on these guys ^^^^ with the HID, Im getting some as well and i was always referred to 5000k. I advise you to do the same..

Cant say much other then that. Um, maybe a video would do good, showing your rebuilt transmission/engine bay, your exhaust system, your projectors so you can blind us with that much power on a chrome headlight, and also to hear your stereo system. A lot of people have systems in their car, But id personally like to hear how their system sounds. It doesn't mean anything if all we see is a Box with acouple woofers in it. You should post some more pics as well. But, Its clean though :)

I know I know it does bother me also. but they're not chrome they're supposed to be smoked. but they're no-name so that's what I get :dunno: I was experimenting haha

no, no... don't put HID's in high beams.. it is better to have HALOGENS in them. the reflector is made for halogens. an HID outputs the light in different spot, so the bean gets too narrow. you get one bight spot, but really can't see much.

if you want REAL visibility, get some 4500-6000k HID;s fr you lows... you will all of a sudden be able to see EVERYTHING. because that makes the most light in the range the human eye can see.
Right right, I know how the hids work and the visible spectrum and all that, but it'd be fine if 6k was in the high beam IN A BLACK HOUSING wouldn't it? That was another thing, since i'm not too happy with these housings, i'll be changing to black housing sonars. (this is where I agree with you rico)

the color of your housing has nothing to with the "k" of your bulb. you always want to put the closest to white as you can in for a bulb. your bulbs are blue, because 10k... is blue.

Sound System :yesway:
Song choice :noway: hahaha jk. Nice system. I like it. Gives me a few ideas for what I want. System will be my last addition. Or maybe second to last. Good stuff. How much did the whole system cost you. Everything.

#27 ·
We should to a Sound off Competition. where people make videos of their sound system and see who has a better one. Cht. Man. Look at me. Coming up with Ideas. See this is why I said he should make a video of his system. But dude, That is crazy expensive, you could of got a nice lip kit. black housing projectors, headers. and still had money left over, to buy a less expensive sound system haha

#30 ·
nah that isn't that expensive. and this is what i'm doing for a living anyway and it's what i love to do so i'll finish my system/ interior before anything else. i'm a certified mecp installer and plan to open up my own shop in the future

#37 ·
Nice that reminds me I gotta get my front seats restitched with my suede.

#38 ·
Besides the fact that i'm blind just from the photos of your headlights; I think your car looks pretty clean . Only problem I would see is that the interior doesn't rally match with the theme of the car, besides that it looks nice.

#39 ·
sorry about the headlights haha. they're going to be changed to a black housing with 6k hid high beams

and yeah it doesn't match now but the exterior will be painted either a midnight black or a shade of red close to the shade of red i used for the interior.

went out today and waxed up my car a bit. got her nice and clean. took a bunch of photos with the new camera but they didn't turn out good at all so i'm not even going to bother putting them up. but i did take some videos of my exhaust because i've seen some posts here where people are asking how the greddy evo II catback sounds like. well i have one with the rest of the exhaust stock. thought i'd put some videos up. Didn't sound good when i played it back on the camera so i made a couple more just in case. and still the vids do no justice. soo much better in person as many of you should know. here ya go. couple more on the way. photobucket seems to have gotten mighty slow with uploading videos now

Let me know what you think!

#43 ·
i think you should have smoothed out the material before the pic of your headliner, so it looks all smooth.

nice work. you should come down here to PA for some autocross.... and while you are down here, do some work for my car. :)

#44 ·
well seeing that it's a 5 hr drive just from my home in nh to here in nj (where i'm staying now for school) then another 5 hr drive over to you in pa. pft. i'd have to have one long vaca

you can always ship things to me :D

#46 ·
good shit, you did a really good job on all that...

how much much would you assume it'd cost to wrap headliners?..since you know how to do them..how much would you think it'd cost at an upholstery place?..

i really like what you did..however, i think you should paint your car red in the future...not black ..just my opinion..

#47 ·
i have no clue what a shop would cost to do that. if i had to guess though i'd say around $200-$250. from having to pay someone to take apart the panels take down the headliner and in our cars having to do the sunroof slides also (cause it matches the headliner) which means taking the whole sunroof out, then putting everything back together

#50 ·
there wouldnt be a solid price on something like that anyway so i can't say any def. price. variables being if i have to work on the car myself or if they do that part. are they providing the material? if not, then what material would you like? price varies on material. will stuff be shipped to me or you come to me? etc.
regardless, i can provide this service. just send me a pm to work out the details :)

Nice to see someone else wrap their headliner. You did a great job and it all looks good :p
