That's an S-10 fan. Fits better than the stocker. The Zirgo burnt out first day, I wanted to do a push/pull setup. I need to have a dump made up.

I've been having a lot of fun with the T-Pro. I disconnected the O2 sensors so the car is in open loop at idle and part throttle. T-Pro has a feature called PTT (Part throttle tracking) which allows me to set my desired idle and AFR at idle. I also set my cruise TPS number and set an AFR. In addition the T-Pro has a WOT Tracking feature that does the same shit. I let the T-Pro make the corrections then adjust my fuel trims to get the T-Pro's corrections closer to 0%. So far I'm loving it :)

I'll post a few logs and some screen shots.

I just have a filter on the end of the turbo right now. Fits in there nice. I'm running the speed density function on the T-Pro with the GM 3 bar MAP sensor and the IAT sensor.

Wait, so you adjust your trims through the maft pro as well?
I can adjust fuel, timing, and boost with it. With the O2's pulled and no MAF the car stays in open loop. It's a hackjob of a standalone, but the ecu doesn't fight with it ;)

I've been using tunerpro for logging. I'm loving the program. I can adjust via my laptop in realtime and flash the T-Pro using "emulation" mode. It's a great program.

i didnt notice the throttle cable resting on the manifold and wastegate when i looked at these from work. lol lesson learned, i guess.

the downpipe doesn't look like the finest bent piping but it works, only a 2.5" downpipe though?

anyways, rig up an extension for your radiator hodse to get it out of harms way and post some better pictures!

you said you pulled all the o2 sensors from the exhaust, but doesnt the ecu need them since the maft pro is only a piggyback? im not sure how all that could work, elaborate a little on it, im curious. ;)

did you ever swap in your new motor? the head looks kind of dirty for being mounted to a new bottom end if you did swap it.

all looks good though, just fix up a few odds and ends.

The pipes he did a kick ass job on, I'll get some angles underneath the car so you can see.

As far as the O2 goes, part throttle tracking is something like an auto tune. The car runs in close loop at idle and part throttle, this is where the ecu fights the correction by the piggyback. The ecu is taking feedback from the O2 sensors to make changes to the fuel trims. When you unplug the O2's the ecu is forced to stay in open loop. With the speed density function the maf has been eliminated, meaning that the ONLY signal the ecu recieves is what the piggyback is telling it. It can't make corrections because it has no other information.

I can but there's not much to it. All I did was hack the fuck out of the top of the support to get to the middle section and drill holes. Then I used long bolts to reach through the support and thread them into the intercooler. It looks flush because I drilled holes big enough for the nuts welded at the top of the intercooler to fit in. It has to be that flush for the intercooler to sit perfect in the grill area.

Sooo... I'm workin on them pics for you guys. The car fuckin screws. The Tial has a 3.8psi spring in it and I've got a boost controller sitting in the car. Running ONLY 3.8psi I absolutely destroyed my buddy's RSX type-S. My ass dyno says the car is somewhere in the low-mid 200's as far as whp goes.

The T-Pro is absolutely amazing. My gas mileage is better than before I had the turbo in and the car runs like it came this way stock. It's EXTREMELY user friendly, I had my car dialed in close to perfect within a few hours or so. I've just been working on 0ing out my correction factor. Shit's a beaut. I'll try and get a video up, I'm loving this big turbo

Oh yeah and my clutch is just about toast. I can't speed-shift, the thing just winds up and all I can smell is clutch. Shit kinda sucks because 1st into 2nd and 2nd into 3rd I'm losing a lot of power. I have to let off when I shift and this big turbo takes a second to spool again. Can't wait to swap in the new motor/clutch. The car is running so great on the stock motor though, it's really a shame.
