Just bought my new wheels online, so hopefully I get them by the end of the week, if not by Tuesday of next week. Then have to go buy some tires for them and put them on. Super excited. Still debating on buying a Sniper (Shinestreet lookalike) lip kit. Your thoughts?

 

Need to lower it before any type of kit is put on.

Just received my new wheels (Raze R-74 Gold 18") from elementwheels.com. Also, just ordered my new tires, Toyo Proxes T1-R's (225/40/18) from the tire shop, hopefully will have everything mounted this friday and some pics.
The tires set me back a little over $1k, but I've read that they are one of the best, and they were the best tires that Les Schwab (a West Coast Tire Chain) has.

Finally took some pics of my car with the new wheels and tires.
Standing on:
-18" Raze R74 Gold
-Toyo Proxes T1-R's (225/40/18)

Wheels cost me about $800 and tires cost a little over $1,000. (Totally Worth It)

Now some new questions:

- I decided to stay with my chrome sonars, should I stick with the clear smoked sonar turns, or just the clear ones (chrome). I am thinking with the smoked because I like the way they look with the vent things.

- I want to paint my calipers but not sure what color: Red or Black? or different color?

 

Clear turns would likely look the best.

And I painted my calipers white, it turned out alright, but bronze would look the best IMO.

Lowering it should be your next step.

i would get clear black housed turns, find my members rides page if you want to know how it will look with chrome sonars
i would paint the calipers gloss black or upgrade to brembo's and leave them red

 

he has the wrong bumper for clear blacks... he would have to get clear, and then crack them open and paint.

Okay, a quick update:

I just purchased a set of Smoked (tinted) Corners from joey, with amber bulbs. Now I might purchase some night shade tails soon. My chrome sonars will have to stay for now, because I will have to find someone who will buy them from me, so I can buy the black ones.

Also another question:
I want to buy a aftermarket Air intake soon (AEM most likey, or the Carbon fiber one). I live in Washington so it rains alot, so I was thinking of buying an SRI. But I am considering buy just a CAI and anytime its wet outside just switch it to SRI. Can all CAI's do this (like take off the down pipe or w/e its called and attach the filter)? Or only certain ones?
