Let me know.

2 observations from my experience.

1. If you don't mess with them and screw them up with all the crappy mods they will run forever.
2. They are usually given to or bought by teenagers as a first car. The smart ones will usually keep them, unmoded, until they finish college and then get rid of them and get a real car.

I have seen very very few Hondas that look good, run well, and sound great.

The same can be said about any low level car that teenagers usually drive. That includes 3G eclipses, older wrxs, and yes, any type of riced out civic with a 5 inch exhaust tip that you can imagine.

I was just out hellaflushhing in my 93 DX hatch and I got stuck going over a speed bump. What should I do?

And I probably should add, I tried to have someone tow me from my jdm yo towhook but it just ended up ripping right off along with my un-colormatched front bumper

Ok 3Gers... you're starting to bore. However, I would like you to riddle me this. If Hondas are such slow pieces of shit, why is it that every performance oriented platform that the company has released in the last 10 years is vastly superior to the 3g eclipse? (save maybe the ep3, which actually was a slow piece of shit)

That sounds like you are stating a fact. Cite sources and specific examples of this from reputable sources and I will consider a rebuttle, until then your argument is invalid.

However, if you do indeed want to make this a "pissing contest" you cannot use the statment "every honda released in the past 10 years is vastly superior to the 3G Eclipse". The 3G Eclipse was only manufactured from 2000 to 2005. So if you want to make comparisons you can only use manufactured Hondas from 2000 to 2005. Once you use a Honda from 2006 to 2013 or 1963 to 1999 you are no longer within the constraints of the argument you are proposing and therefore the argument becomes, once again, invalid.

Well I'll tell you what, when I first started working for Toyota, I hated those damned things for one sole reason; the engine bay was horribly cramped and it was a fucking bitch to get to anything. My older co-workers actually told me that they were so happy when they quit making them, because most of them fell into the hands of school aged kids that tore them up something fierce and most of the time, mommy and daddy didn't want to pay for the repairs (just like almost every other affordable sporty coupe/hatchback).

But now that they've left the big picture of the industry (seriously, I've wrenched a total of six of them since I started 14 months ago, 3 GTs, and 3 GTSs both automatic and manual), and now that I've gotten used to tight spaces, I've grown to like them, tremendously. They're very reliable when taken care of, like any other Toyota, and I love the craftsmanship that Yamaha put into the GTS engine. I'm glad someone still uses a real gasket for the water pump. I'd take a clean, unmolested one for the right price in a heartbeat.

Anyways, carry on.

wait... so the comparison is the eclipse vs ALL honda's in the same age bracket? if your going to compare it that way, then you ought to at least bring up the other mitsu's of the same age bracket..

and honda owners suck because most of them have been riding that "my first car is awesome!" high for the last 20 years. the rest of us bought something else.

I mean, if you want to make this Mitsu vs Honda you surely can. I'm a big fan of the Evo, for starters. Honda hasn't really made a car that competes with it, so it's tough to compare in those regards.

Oh yes, tell me about the turbo charged all wheel drive Hondas?

Toyota? Yep got that
Mitsubishi? Yep got that
Subaru? Yep got that

Honda? Nope don't got that

The ONLY big Japanese auto maker that don't got that.
