so here is the eclipse when i first pick it up.
its a 01 gs with sportronic tranny, 170k on the body but has new engine and tranny.

Got the shine street kit on with the F1 fenders, i really like the result.

 

The fitment on your fenders around the door is awful.

 

yeah those fenders need to either get fitted better or need to go! other then that drop it and get some wheels not bad a bad start

 

loose the fenders!!! on a better note that kit is beautiful. i have also loved the ss kit on 00-02. i love how you two toned the front and rear lips keep up the good luck.

 

I'd lose the fenders. You thinking about a more aggressive spoiler? What other plans?

 

i forgot all about the spoiler. im with tx4codeman, you need a spoiler (ww or ss ??). you mights also want to look into some new wheels (18s)

It looks kind of half-assed. I would rather buy rims, headlights/taillights/clear corners, drop it a bit, THEN put the body kit on. The lip kit looks too premature on the car IMO

 

It would be more wise to buy wheels - not just the "rims".

 

Does the paint even match? Fenders don't seem to match the door at all.

oh yea and im likin the color and the street shine kit, dont know about the fenders tho, as for the wing... id say drop it and then lose the wing

 

I think you need to put the OEM fenders back on. Once you complete that, buy some wheels and drop the car and she will look great.

 

You need to talk to your painter again, and get your whole car re-shot.

so i added HIDs, as well as LEDs for the interior, also use led strips for the front bumper, looks kinda cool

 

you forgot to hide your plate number in the first two pics! uh-oh but you did the rest!

 

wait.... so now you have HiD in stock, foggy headlights?

that would be the most self-defeative thing i have seen in awhile.

stockers are not made for HiD, you probably could have gotten a better output just by polishing the headlights (takes about a half an hour... i used to do it once a year, cause these things get crappy around here).

also, when, or if, you get projectors, your HiD that fits the stockers, will not fit them.

 

I'd lose the fenders, get some wheels, and drop it. Then it'll be looking great. :yesway:

 

That body when you first got it looked really good to have 170K miles on it. Im not a big fan of the fenders. Wheels would do ALOT for this car.

interesting. I think you should do something with the headlight housings next before you continue...

 

Need new rims, headlights, corner lights, and a drop would help!!

 

It could be just me but the color is just a tad off on the fender, course that could be cause it's new, and not faded like the rest. Oh well, good work except for that, I like the bumper and back bumper, looks great.

 

I would say the paint color is off because of new paint versus 10 year old paint.

I think a nice set of wheels will do great justice for the car. I don't care for the fenders myself, but I think if they had an improved fitment with the doors it would be alright in my book. However, you need to throw on a set of projector headlights with your HID kit over the stock headlights.

The SS kit is very nice.

I also don't feel the LEDs on the fake inserts, just looks..tacky I think.
