Must be the sensor readings. But, yeah, they could have filtered it to make it smoother.dude that needle on Kaboobie's video is on crack. I mean come on they couldn't program that damn thing to be smoother? the car is in a steadily accelerating and the damn needle is jumping between 6500 and 7200 RPMS like a crack whore trying to hold her pipe.
Looks like raw readings straight from the ECU. It doesn't flash when recommending gear shift-up change. The one in the second vid of the actual in-dash instrumentation is much smoother.dude that needle on Kaboobie's video is on crack. no, what they are saying is that any car, including a kia, if it has the right frequency can be amplified and then used to break a glass after putting it through mics, amps and speakers. I mean come on, it just happens that the sound of the exhaust is the right frequency to break a glass. My Jeep might be the right frequency to bring down a brick wall if it's amplified enough. So, LFA needs microphones and speakers to break the glass...... Does that mean it can't break one without mics & speakers? :ninja2:
 :wavey: That would be me sir whose 3G PharmEcis is building into a 3.7L turboed AWD monster.Who the fuck is this "Charles?"
:lol:Who the fuck is this "Charles?"
I guess Doric didn't know huh Jeremy?:lol:
What's the goal? :wavey: That would be me sir whose 3G PharmEcis is building into a 3.7L turboed AWD monster.
Which is why I asked. Is there a build thread?I guess Doric didn't know huh Jeremy?
My INITIAL goal was 500whp but that was BEFORE I decided to go AWD. The turbo I will be using is a Borg Warner S366 with an efficiency range between 650-800whp so I'd like it to be around 750awhp.What's the goal?

Is this question for me? Well first off I wanted a turbo in my 3G that would make the car 500hp. The build started off that way and then the longer it went things came up like the topic for AWD on a V6. Since I'm not one to half ass a project and PharmEcis told me it was possible I figured why the hell not and go for it.I have spent a lot of money on really dumb stuff, and I typically don't make fun of people for what they spend their money on, because of point #1, but WTF?
Why would you want to dump all that money into an Eclipse? I mean go buy a ZO6 or a used Exige and work that thing.
My man.:yesway: :cheers:Oh trust me, I am 1000% with you on all of the above. Hell I used to buy SOMETHING new every year. Car, truck, motorcycle, dirtbike, car, motorcycle... haha. So I am in now way saying you're wrong for doing it because I've done it and I'm not that much older than you. I was more so just wondering why you chose an eclipse. But really that just comes down to personal preference I guess. Like I said in the last post, with all that money you're spending why not do this (modifying) to something that is a bit more capable that's all. But hell, if you like the eclipse then have at it. Like you said, you only live once.
Those are big numbers. I wish you the best of luck.My INITIAL goal was 500whp but that was BEFORE I decided to go AWD. The turbo I will be using is a Borg Warner S366 with an efficiency range between 650-800whp so I'd like it to be around 750awhp.
Thanks. The build is coming along nicely. It's had its share of setbacks but it's getting there. To your question, no I've never owned a high-horsepower street car. The highest hp street car I've ever owned was a 3G that I built with a rebuilt 3.0L motor, a RIPP SDS and supportiong mods. That car made in the 320's whp. That's a good amount of power but I certainly wouldn't consider that high-horsepower. I have my little GSX and EVO to give me a little taste of boost but I'm sure it'll be like a night and day difference once I drive the 3G at it's fullest potential. Those are big numbers. I wish you the best of luck.
Have you ever owned a high-horsepower street car?
