tough to narrow it down to just 5 but i'll try...
1. My old car (because it was stock ;p)
2. Rulez (Pulled of the wingless look plus it has a snail)
3. Hijacker (tastefully done show car)
4. icemanrld19 (show and go well cept the bling wheels)
5. Clipse3gt (clean and actually runs)

BTW, jblairpa's car was definitely my inspiration for getting a w69 pearl. It was either that or the iconic silver. Absolutely no regrets at all. Right, Mojo? :)

I am glad this thread got bumped because I've never seen it.

Ya, I would agree - someone should start a ::Top 5 Favorite 3rd Gen Eclipses as of 2010:: and pick those from over the years. :)

IMO, I would choose the following:

HIJACKER
Ego_Eclipse
Tearstone
Mark
04MojoGT

There are a lot of quality cars with very high end mods, but to narrow it down, I have to go with OVERALL package and the attention to detail. Some of those with outstanding motors have stock/standard interiors, etc. Hard to choose 5, but that would be my choices.

:agreed: Unfortunately my 3G can't make this years vote, but it should next year this time. What you say about the interiors is dead on. That's actually what I'm working on now. My goal on the side is to now make your Top 5 list. :D

You know the drill, subtle touches, originality, no shortcuts or "fake" parts, etc. The goal, make it the way it should have been produced from the factory. I try to vision "OEM upgrades" as motivation if that makes any sense.

Oh yes I know the drill. Subtle touches, originality, no shortcuts or "fake" parts, etc and "OEM" upgrades makes perfect sense. You're reading my mind right there. When my 3G is done I'm going to come back to this convo and we'll see if I met the criteria. Oooh, this is going to be fun.:fever:

Very true, but I'm talking about the visual aspects. I very much like how your 3G looked on the exterior. For example: the paint job and how there weren't any flaws, scratches or mismatch coloring. Then the body kit was aligned to where it looked factory. Even down to the wheels, break calipers and the overall stance. I've been watching you and taking notes :lol:.

In all seriousness when people ask me when my car will be done they're thinking about the mechanical aspect and it being driveable. When I say "done" I'm talking about EVERYTHING. An exterior paint job, interior cleaning, a serious engine bay makeover. I noticed inside the engine bay there are a few little rusts spots that have to be removed and being that the car is white the rust stands out and I can't have that. My vision for the car has changed so much that the items on my mod list I've began to sell and started to upgade for a more "serious and show worthy" look. I have some work to do this winter but by the summer the 3G should be presentable and "done" to my standard.
