I saw those earlier this week. I just dont like the way the halo's look with the ridges. It looks like the old style halo's that use to come on the universal halo fog lights at autozone. The halo in the sonars don't have the ridges in them they are more smooth. Those would be nice if they just did away with the halos all together.

 

I saw these on Auto Accessories, Headlights, Tail Lights |K2Motor earlier and was actually impressed with the look. It even looks as though the housing has a different build to it also.

OH and OP, it is dual, not duel. dual is 2, duel is a one on one fight. do the halos fight for power?

 

yes stockers with rice aftermarket bulbs. I don't even know anyone in the immediate area with something else to compare them to. It will probably be a bit before I put H.I.D.'s in them too, I'll order a kit separate. probably in another two weeks or so

 

i will put my new custom dual halo depos (when they are finished) against these... in a duel!

I almost think we need to look at these Sonars as we do the first gen TYC everyone loves. Basically for all of us who have the single halo Sonars, lets keep them around and in good shape for anyone that is willing to buy them.

 

ehhh.. i don't think these are sonars at all. they look kinda like them but they are not the same, with just an extra halo.

They could be Sonars with just a new bulb access? Either way, I find these very interesting none the less.

 

looking at what K2 motors sells, i am willing to bet they are ANZO made. that is the only headlights K2 motors sell.

interestingly, there is a seller on Ebay saying that they sell CCFL sonars.....

I want to say that those are just regular led halos. Read the item description. Plus that's the same picture that the eBay vendor used when I bought mine about 3 years ago now. And you can't always trust eBay sellers.

I saw the ccfl vs led halo thing. But like I said you can't trust alot of eBay sellers. They can put up whatever they want to and alot of times do, just to make some money.

I'm hoping they are ccfl though. I mean, every other make and model have ccfl headlights as an option.

 

Ok order went through, they should be shipped out tomorrow. Now just wait for a month or two and the package might actually make it to me. :facepalm: At that point I'll do a review.

I have one of those things, you know, a headache with pictures! Can't we just take our sonars and with some fab work mod 2 CCFL halos in? One would sit in the stock halo position around the projector. Could teh other one fit around the reflector with some mod work?
