I got this car in March of 2010 and have been slowly fixing it to my liking with a budget of course because im a student. Let me know what you think please!!! I do all the work myself. I tint windows, do stereo installs, electronics, everything.

Pictures are from the very first few days up to now. I plan on getting some night pics up also because I have A LOT of leds in the interior. Also a few on the outside.

that and it looks like you cut your fog light covers with a spoon, rock, and i will never be a fan of random led strips on things your upper fake vents)

stop "customizing" your car at walmart.

essentially, the only thing you have done that looks like an improvement, is your headlights.

hey, you asked for opinions. you got 'em.

Ok, thanks for the opinions ever though they are rough. The pics are taken with my camera phone. I cant spit out $1000 for a drop and wheels even though YES I would love to have them. The sticker on the back window is my advertisement for my tinting business and school parking sticker. The bottom of the front bumper was scratched all to hell and had a crack in it from the previous owner so a cheap fix was to wrap it with the leftover vinyl I had to try and cover it up and it looks a lot better than it did. The hood also had large chips in it and the clear coat was coming off so instead of spending more to get a new hood I just wrapped it with vinyl along with the roof and trunk. The led lights on the front bumper vents are being taken off soon, yes i know they look horrible. The fog lights are projectors and were nearly impossible to make a mount on the inside of the bumper thats why they sit low. The hole in the plastic cover was cut out with a router and IMO looks fine. The door handle paint was coming off also so I wrapped it with vinyl too.

really i dont like the front bumper but each to their own and take that rc atenna off and get a smaller one. as of the stickers on your back window make it smaller not that big and as of now try looking for some rims maybe some gt rims or even used aftermarket ones in the for sale department dont go chrome but other than that it looks pretty decent

My question is how did you mount those fogs.

I'm not trying to be a dick to you guys(Those who -Rep'd him) Why already give him red nuggets. He has only made two posts, give him a chance to see the way we view things so that maybe he can take our advice, when I first got on here, you guys gave me the harsh truth when i asked stupid questions, thank god didnt red nugget me, I was a straight Noob, and now I see how things are run and what looks really good for my car and I have Green Nuggets now. Give the guy a little break, By all means Correct his errors on the car, but to red nugget him already is just a little childish to me.

Now as for your car
Yeah Tinting your windshield Has to go, You never want to lose any sort of visibility in your vehicle, I can maybe see the top part thats tinted that you have, Okay, i wouldnt do it, but its acceptable. But tinting the lower half = not safe. I see what you were trying to do with the whole black vinyl on the front bumper, roof etc. and not that its a necessary bad look, its just the tacky way of getting things done. I would save up the money to have it painted black rather than vinyl. My future mods for you
-paint job
-New wheels and tires
-Drop
- And if the bottom of your front bumper was that bad, get a new one

I actually thought the l.e.d on the fake vent is pretty cool, its definitely original, "tacky way of doing it" But if you could find a good customized legit work of custom fake vents with L.e.d lights inside. That would be pretty nice in my opinion. But a random strip of lights that you can buy at walmart is not good.

Just my advice

Good luck with the car man and Welcom to Club3G :wavey:

All these negative comments is the learning curve for you..If u want ideas, just take a look at others car here and see what is suitable to ur style...i wouldn't take it personal coz we all want everyone rides to look good...If we all said ur ride looks good here..we be lying and retarded...

For those who left positive comments, thank you I will take your advice. I have already removed the Monster sticker and the leds are next.

fkcamaro: My parents bought it for me after my last car got totaled...I didnt have a choice.

ccarrillo717: Their not a certain brand like "pilot". I got them for $30 off eBay. Their projectors and came with no wiring at all which was good because I had wired a HID fog light kit so I didnt need the wires for it anyway.

EZT: I cut out a circle in the plastic plug then used some composite wood and made a mount on the backside of the piece so the fog mount could attach to it and sit somewhat straight. It was nearly impossible and I would never try it again.

ejsquirt20: Thank you...finally

timster2833: Yes, 50% and I love it.

RicoSmooth: Thank you for the support! My windshield is tinted because I live in florida and the heat + the brightness of the sun is ridiculous so the 50% only cuts down on glare and blocks 42% solar heat which is great. The leds are tacky yes I know and they are soon to be gone. I am going to get amber side emitting leds and do a little mod with the headlights. This should not not look tacky I assure you.

Sounds to me like he is just a kid. I doubt he has the budgets of some of you here to make it look like Hijackers car. Hijacker owns his own business, he can afford to buy a cheap car and make it look like a million bucks.. With that said, remove the decals and when you are on a tight budget, keep it simple and clean. Focus on some decent wheels that you can afford, you can get cheap wheels that look expensive, keep the paint nice and shiny, under the hood nice and clean. After you get wheels, touch up the calipers with some paint. You don't need to change the car with all these parts to have a nice and clean car.

I agree with the bulk of the other comments here, but I also applaud you for at least trying something new especially since it is very easily reverted out.

So with that said, please, with haste, revert out the vinyl coating you have over applied everything. If the paint is indeed as bad as you say it is, buy a new bumper, paint it, and attempt to restore the other paint finishes with the wide variety of detailing products available for paint restoration.

Personally, I do not like the trunk/roof/hood two tone stuff that a lot of people try to do, but I, at the very least like, that you didn't waste money on doing it via paint. I think the only reason poeple do it (the two tone stuff) is because at a glance it gives the appearance that your car has a carbon body, which I guess was cool in 2003 when C/F was hitting the mainstream, but in this half assed sort of faux treatment, it just looks sorta cheap and ricey. Even real C/F on imports is tired and tasteless in my opinion. It should be painted. the majority of high end performance cars are all mde of C/F these days, but they are painted *usually*, and so should yours. I"m way off topic now. Sorry.

I removed all the decals and will be removing some more vinyl from things such as the door handles and the plastic pieces on the pillars to the rear of the car. I took a few pics of the update and my windshield tint for those who disagree with it. I wil take pics tonight of the interior leds and post them along with the updated pics:)
