Clean stocker
Looks like someone put on the GT sideskirts and spoiler cause I dont believe the RS model came stock with those.

Well to start off, welcome! Second thing, I can't tell anything of the engine bay with the effect you put on it, try a regular one. Do you have any ideas or plans for the car? and one last thing, clean stocker!

Those are my short term plans right now.
when more money comes in, Ill start thinking of others.

I don't think it is a RS but I could be wrong.

I suspect it is a GS instead.

Those are definitely GS wheels.

 

I cant be 100% sure but the little sticker on the rear/right hand side, where it says all the different classifications of the car says RS.
Like i said I'm not the first owner So I can't fully speak for the Car.
What would be the difference of a GS and RS, if you dont mind me asking?

 

the RS also had the option of an automatic tranny. not a sportronic... a plain jane automatic.

You also have a sunroof, I just noticed that. If it truly is an RS im thinking the original owner that bought the car from the dealer bought it with the additional upgrades that cost extra. Those would be (sideskirts, spoiler, and sunroof) That is my guess...

 

I like it! Get yourself some smoked corners and a set of black housed sonars!!! It'd be beautiful!

RS's also had an antennae if I'm not mistaken.

 

I know mine has a fixed antenna at the left rear.

 

I like it, I don't think I'd get the magnaflow exhaust for it. I'd go with the invidia n1 or the Greddy evo2.

UPDATE: Well Guys thanks for your comments. and martin ill accept your opinion and ill Look up those exhaust, like i said Im open for suggestions.
As far as the RS and GS Quest. I Found out yes it is a GS. I had a Car buddy of mine look it up. I called the Previous owner he said the lettering in the back of the car came off and he just put a RS sticker on it because he assumed thats what it was. I Went to autozone and bought GS letters to put on the rear. Ill post pics of that In a minute.
Also I bought *ONE* L.E.D Light strip for the inside of my car. (maybe to put around my dashboard somewhere, or around the stereo set up). I just want to see what it would look like. If its bad, ill turn it back in. If you guys agree that it is nice Ill keep it.

 

Take the GS "stickers" back to AutoZone. If it's not the stock lettering don't make the car look cheap by putting stickers on it in its place. No need to advertise you have a GS anyways.

Around the letters its a little bit weird because I had to wipe so much to get all the *Sticky stuff* off from where the sticker was at.

 

Whatever you do, don't put too much money on the exterior of the car. Try to avoid body kits.

 

The lettering isn't that bad, I can deal with it.

 

On my GTS I debadged the GTS, the dealer sticker, and the v6 stickers on both sides and it looks really nice. I think you should just leave the back with just the Mitsubishi emblem.

 

:lol: I guess it's too late to take them back now. It looks good though. I'm surprised AutoZone has something that close to stock.

 

I just asked one of the workers if they had Mitsubishi Lettering, and thats what he came up with. lol

Thinking about getting Sonar headlights

 

DO get Sonar lights. I think they are the best looking headlights for these cars IMO, I have them on my 00 GT.

 

Can't go wrong with either Sonar or Depo. I prefer the latter.

QUICK PROBLEM/QUESTION

I am extremely stupid and grabbed the wrong L.E.D. Light. I wanted the one that hooks up to your cigarette Lighter to trial it and see how it looks.
Reading the Instructions I have to disconnect the two wires that hook into the 12V that you see, and Hook it to another 12V Battery Fuse. Where in the hell would i get the Fuse Box so i can set it up?

 

Hey because these cars are so dark inside if you put them under the dash where you cant see them they give you more light and they rock i have white ones under both sides and i have some under the seats for the people in the back but i dont use them very often

 

Are you trying to put the LED's in the interior? Save your money and return them. The blue lighting would look retarded in my opinion. Too ricerish.

But an interior fusebox is located in the panel in between the drivers door and the dash. You just pull the panel out.

 

which is why I only bought One. Just wanted to see how it will look. Only about 20 bucks. Wouldnt be too much of a loss.

Your car looks good. I say no to the led stripe, I think you should return it. Also, if you still want to have blue interior lights, I suggest doing an interior led swap, basically change all the bulbs to blue. There is a how to in the Eclipse Garage forum.

And +1 to the Sonar Headlights

 

I'd nightshade the stocks. White 3G's look really good with tinted lights.
